Three Hours For Radio

Speakers On - Program Excerpt is Playing

In 1978 a powerful news reporter
with 50,000 watts behind him read an editorial on the air entitled
“THE AMERICANS”.
It was released on record, sold 3 million copies,

Millions listened worldwide.    Hundreds of radio stations broadcast the program.
Millions listened worldwide.   It starts with a gripping episode of strange but true
events surrounding THE DISCOVERY OF AMERICA; then, dramatized newscasts
covering events  when The Americans finally had enough of the British.

From there, each 15 minutes is a different Fourth of July, beginning with a 90 second
drama about a strange, but true event involving America and Americans.

THIS IS AN EPIC.  A PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM in words and a panorama of
FLAG WAVING musical performances ranging from country to rock to the Boston Pops
appealing to all people and radio formats.  All are touched with heart wrenching
emotion and then...Whitney Houston's fire cracking rendition of the “STAR SPANGLED
BANNER” as performed at the Super Bowl in Tampa even as the bombing of Iraq was
first underway at the beginning of Desert Storm in 1991.
