With over 30 years in the valley
Ron Garrett is one of those people we can truly call Mr. Las Vegas.
Most recently, and for many years Ron was the Marketing and
Entertainment Director of the Sahara Hotel & Casino
on the Las Vegas Strip.

Prior to that Ron was the General Manager of The Greek Isles Hotel
Casino, formally The Debbie Reynolds Hotel Casino where he restored
the Debbie Reynolds Showroom to original condition
and booked the hit show:
“ A tribute to Frank, Joey, Sammy and Dean."
Produced by Dick Feeney and Sandy Hackett,
son of the late Buddy Hackett.

From characters such as Lefty Rosenthal, the infamous Casino executive
whose story was told in the movie CASINO starring Robert De Niro as
Lefty, to Tony "The Ant" Spilotro the mob enforcer from Chicago who
was also in the movie portrayed by Joe Pesci and once was an
advertising client of Ron's. To this day Ron wears a ring given to him by
in lieu of payment by Spilotro, a ring that allegedly
came from "proceeds" gathered from
The Ant's "Hole in The Wall Gang."

Ron's history in Radio is legendary in Nevada.
In 2002 he was inducted into the Nevada Broadcaster's Hall of Fame.

In 2006 he won the “Entertainment Director of the Year” award.
In 2007 Ron won the “Best Locally Produced Talk Show”
in Las Vegas award.

Ron Garrett's roots are in Vegas and now he brings all of those fabulous
